Please join us at the annual fundraiser for the Garfield High School PTSA. Finally in person again after two years, our SPRING SOIREE will be held on May 7, from 6 to 8 pm at the Terrace Lounge at the Murano on First Hill. You will have a chance to put on your favorite spring colors and florals and celebrate new beginnings with fellow Garfield community members. The location is a stunning penthouse lounge with a terrace and a spectacular view of downtown Seattle, the mountains, and our own Garfield High School.

We will celebrate the resilience of Garfield students and staff after a couple of truly unprecedented years. Guests can reconnect with old friends or finally meet some fellow Garfield families after two years of seclusion. Select student ensembles from Garfield Jazz and Orchestra programs will delight you while you savor hearty appetizers and sip (wine, beer, soft drinks and a signature cocktail!).

You’ll hear from Dr. Hart about his vision for a renewed Garfield experience and how the PTSA can help him put his vision of instructional excellence--and joy!-- into action. Our beloved Choir and Drumline director Blake Saunders will MC the evening together with a student leader. A silent auction and a live paddle raise will help fund our partnerships with the school in 2022-2023—we have an ambitious $75,000 goal for the evening. 

Spring brings rebirth and renewal, and the proceeds from this special evening will help shape a stronger, happier, more responsive Garfield together. Look forward to seeing you there!
