Here are examples of how your donations to the Garfield PTSA can support our students, faculty and staff

$25 -  can keep students creative with the supplies they need for visual arts classes.

$50 – helps to purchase a yearbook for a student, making sure every senior gets a yearbook regardless of family income.  

$100 – pays for 5 teacher appreciation lunches 

$250 – helps a teacher get their classroom set for the year with a stipend we give to every faculty member.

$500 – covers our technology licenses for the year, to send out our weekly newsletters and host large meetings online on subjects like Safety and emotional health of our students.  

$1000 – can fund a small grant for teachers or staff—the small grants, distributed by the Building Leadership Team can help buy books, fund a club, or help assure students receive college credit for an innovative math class

$2500-- At this level, 25 families receive gift cards to help with groceries and home supplies.

$5000 – covers the cost of  tutoring support for an AmeriCorps volunteer for half the school year
